The Distribution and Logistics Optimization Consultant role requires 5+ years of quantitative experience, strong optimization skills, and excellent client-facing communication to translate data into actionable business

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in decision analytics, OR optimization, or related quantitative fields.
• Strong grounding in optimization and analytical problem solving.
• Experience translating analysis into business recommendations.
• Exposure to warehouse operations, labor planning, network optimization, or distribution.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Fluency in English and a client-first mentality.
• Intense work ethic and collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Apply optimization, analytics and AI to logistics and warehousing.
• Develop OR models: linear/integer programming, network optimization, heuristics, simulation.
• Support warehouse operations, planning, labor balancing, and transportation.
• Translate model outputs into actionable cost, service, and productivity insights.
• Support merchandising use cases to improve assortment and distribution decisions.
• Assist technology and analytics implementations for clients.
• Communicate findings clearly to technical and business stakeholders.
