SPL in Conroe, TX is seeking a Logistics Manager to supervise routing, scheduling, and transportation for environmental lab services across Texas. You’ll optimize routes, monitor performance, and ensure compliant sample handling and chain-of-custody while supporting cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, or related field.
• 5+ years in logistics/dispatch or similar operations.
• Experience optimizing routes and multi-site scheduling.
• Familiarity with chain-of-custody and sample handling preferred.
• Strong Excel skills; experience with routing software/BI tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop routing schedules for field services and sample collection.
• Optimize routes and logistics to improve efficiency and turnaround.
• Coordinate sample transportation with chain-of-custody.
• Monitor operations and adjust schedules and resources.
• Collaborate with lab and operations teams to improve workflows.
• Maintain routing and logistics tracking systems for reporting.
• Analyze logistics metrics to identify trends and support improvements.
• Create reports, dashboards, KPIs, and performance metrics.
• Support QA activities and corrective actions as needed.
• Provide training and guidance on logistics procedures and compliance.
• Assist with issue resolution in transportation and routing.
