Job summary

Siemens Fort Worth location is seeking a Location Procurement Manager to lead site-level procurement for a brand-new factory launch. The role focuses on CapEx sourcing, supplier development, and cross‑functional collaboration with Engineering, Operations, Finance and EHS to deliver capital projects.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in manufacturing procurement, strong negotiation, and ERP proficiency. On-site work with periodic travel during build/ramp phases is expected in a hybrid setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, engineering or finance required.
• 5+ years of procurement/sourcing experience in manufacturing or related environments.
• Experience sourcing and executing CapEx projects (equipment, construction, MRO, facility services).
• Proven negotiation skills with RFx processes and contract awards.
• Strong financial acumen including TCO and cost analyses.
• Cross-functional collaboration with Engineering/Operations; multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop the site supply chain by onboarding local/regional suppliers.
• Lead CapEx sourcing for equipment, construction-related spend, and services.
• Govern CapEx governance with Finance to align with budgets; track commitments.
• Draft, negotiate, and manage contracts and SLAs with stakeholders.
• Establish KPIs; drive performance reviews and mitigate supply risk.
• Serve as procurement lead for site projects with cross‑functional teams.
• Develop location strategy; execute make/buy and TCO analyses.
• Set up purchasing processes and ensure ERP data accuracy.
• Uphold procurement policies and competitive bidding requirements.
