Qualifications

Juris Doctor; admitted to the Florida Bar and in good standing (required).
3 to 15 years of civil litigation experience, preferably in one or more of the practice areas above.
Direct experience in at least one core Tampa practice area (professional liability; condo/HOA; employment; architects and engineers; construction defect; or real estate litigation).
Admission to the U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida, a plus.
Strong research, writing, and analytical skills; familiarity with Aderant Expert Sierra, iTimekeep, and NetDocuments a plus.

Responsibilities

Manage cases independently from inception through resolution, including case strategy and day-to-day docket management.
Prepare pleadings, dispositive motions, and written discovery; take depositions; handle hearings and mediations.
Communicate directly with clients, carriers, and opposing counsel; prepare timely client reports and status updates.
