Job summary

TruLegal (formerly TRU Staffing) in Washington, DC, seeks a Litigation Support & eDiscovery Project Assistant to support electronic discovery across the EDRM lifecycle.

You will provide technical support for iCONECT/Xera, create case databases, and assist with collection, processing, review, and production of ESI within deadlines. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work both independently and with a team are essential.

Qualifications

• Prior litigation support or eDiscovery experience preferred.
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn new technologies and processes.
• Experience with iCONECT/Xera is highly preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-user technical support for iCONECT/Xera and the document review platform.
• Create and maintain case-related document databases.
• Assist with collection, processing, review, and production of ESI according to deadlines.
• Coordinate and monitor litigation support tasks, including uploads, tagging, and QC/QA.
• Maintain production logs and perform quality control checks.
• Help identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues.
• Support document reviews by managing user access and reviewer questions.
• Assist with trial preparation and management of exhibits.
• Coordinate with internal/external teams and vendors on discovery workflows.
• Perform basic data quality checks on document batches.
