Goldberg, Miller & Rubin is a regional insurance defense law firm with offices in Philadelphia, Manhattan, and North Jersey that has been successfully litigating cases for its clients for close to four decades. We are seeking a litigation paralegal to join our growing team in New York.

This position can be hybrid/remote based on experience. Responsibilities include assisting attorneys in preparing civil litigation matters for trial, handling discovery, drafting motions and subpoenas,

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in civil litigation or insurance defense environment preferred
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced law firm setting

Responsibilities

• Assisting attorneys in preparing civil litigation matters for trial
• Receive and review discovery documents from clients and third parties
• Review discovery materials and draft motions and discovery responses
• Draft and send subpoenas and coordinate with third parties
• Set up independent medical examinations and review medical records
• Prepare for trial and assist during court proceedings
