The ideal candidate will draft litigation documents, provide comprehensive support to insurance defense attorneys, and manage case files and deadlines with minimal supervision. Strong writing and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of New York State court rules and procedures.
• Exceptional legal writing, drafting, attention to detail, and organization.
• Ability to manage assignments independently with sound judgment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with electronic litigation platforms.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and draft a wide range of litigation documents including motions and pleadings.
• Provide comprehensive litigation support to insurance defense cases.
• Monitor case activity, maintain files, and track deadlines.
• Coordinate court filings, document service, and procedural requirements.
• Review and organize medical records and discovery materials.
• Assist with trial preparation and other pre-trial duties.
• Support attorneys with day-to-day case management and projects.
