Tycko & Zavareei LLP, a national plaintiffs’ civil litigation firm, seeks a Litigation Paralegal for its Washington, DC office, beginning September 2026. The full-time, hybrid position supports attorneys across all litigation stages and requires strong organization and proactive communication.

The role emphasizes ownership, prioritization, and delivering accurate, timely work in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree awarded by 2025.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
• Strong professional judgment, discretion and reliability.
• Comfort operating in a highly collaborative but self-directed workplace.
• Experience with remote collaboration across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Manage and organize case files, internal records, deadlines, and litigation calendars.
• Prepare, proofread, cite-check, and electronically file pleadings and briefs in state and federal courts.
• Support attorneys with written discovery, document review, and deposition preparation.
• Draft correspondence, basic filings, exhibits, tables, and other litigation materials.
• Coordinate with clients, co-counsel, vendors, court personnel, and opposing counsel.
• Perform factual and procedural research using PACER, Westlaw, and public records.
