Job summary

Parsons is seeking an experienced Linux Systems Security Engineer to design, secure, and maintain enterprise Linux infrastructure in a hybrid role requiring presence in Centreville, VA 3 days a week. You will work with FreeIPA, Pulp/Foreman, RADIUS, DNS, and GitLab, applying STIG baselines and security controls across large environments.

Ideal candidates have a TS/SCI clearance, IAT Level II certification or higher, and strong skills in security logging, vulnerability remediation, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years in cybersecurity, IT, or related field.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with IAT Level II certification or higher.
• Experience securing RedHat Enterprise or Rocky Linux environments.
• Experience with STIGs, identity management, and security logging.

Responsibilities
