We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary team. If you don't have a license to practice in Pennsylvania, we can assist you in obtaining it while being supervised by us. We are offering flexible hours Monday through Friday from 9:00 am until 9:00 pm and Saturday 9:00 am until 4:00 pm, looking for a minimum of 15 to 20 hours worked on a weekly basis. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and offer ongoing care to children, adults, and the elderly remotely from your home office, as we are 100% virtual. We use a robust electronic health records system which includes a telehealth platform to see patients virtually.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Board certification in Psychiatry
• Valid state medical license to practice psychiatry
• Graduate from a state-certified advanced practice program specializing in psychiatry/mental health

Minimum Required Experience:

• At least 1-2 years providing direct client care to persons receiving treatment for psychiatric disorders
• Ability to work with children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly

Experience:

• 3+ years of experience as a psychiatric provider
• Experience in telemedicine

Other Skills Required:

• Experience in delivering high-quality, client-centered care
• Ability to document in and navigate ICANotes after training
• Conforming to HIPAA privacy standards
• Effective communication and interaction with individuals involved in all aspects of treatment
• Courtesy, tact, consideration, and discretion in all interactions
• Proficiency in computers, including Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work effectively with OCCWS multidisciplinary team
• Skills to read, analyze, and interpret general and professional documents
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Providing psychiatric services to clients virtually using the ICANotes platform
• Assessing, diagnosing, and treating clients experiencing symptoms of behavioral health disorders
• Managing medications for mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders
• Coordinating client care with therapists and other treatment team members
• Timely and accurate completion of medical records in ICANotes
• Providing counseling to clients as necessary
• Establishing/modifying individualized treatment plans
• Ordering laboratory or diagnostic tests and examining results
• Communicating with clients' guardians and significant others
• Documenting services in compliance with regulations
• Improving quality of service
• Establishing open lines of communication for individuals with mental or emotional issues
• Providing prevention-oriented therapies
• Developing and implementing treatment plans
• Collaborating with in-house psychiatrists and other treatment providers
• Ensuring timely completion of documentation
• Completing online ICANotes training videos necessary for this position
