Job summary

Thriveworks Counseling in Paramus, NJ is seeking licensed clinicians pursuing New Jersey licensure as an LPC. The role combines telehealth and in-office sessions within a hybrid model, requiring proximity to the Paramus location and independent licensure pursuit.

Qualifications

• Approved by the board as a LAC.
• Must be seeking independent licensure and living in New Jersey.
• Must reside within 45 minutes of the office; hybrid model (50% in office, 50% remote).
• Graduate of an approved 60-credit hour program.
• Experience in treating depression and anxiety in counseling settings.
• Experience conducting intakes and diagnoses under supervision (DSM-5).
• Available for at least 25 sessions weekly with 30 hours of availability.
• Open to treating diverse clients (including couples and children).
• Comfort with telehealth and EHR tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based care to clients.
• Deliver telehealth and face-to-face sessions.
• Conduct intakes and diagnoses under supervision when applicable.
• Maintain a full caseload with flexible scheduling in a hybrid model.
• Collaborate with care teams and support staff.
