Sedgwick is hiring a Claims Adjuster - Liability who will analyze liability claims for benefits due, ensuring timely adjudication aligned with client requirements. The role supports a hybrid work model with two days in-office in Irving, TX, and three days remote across states.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED with a bachelor's degree preferred, 4 years of claims experience, and licensing in the home state.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Professional certification in the line of business preferred.
• Licensing: Home state required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze liability claims to determine benefits due and adjudicate within service expectations.
• Negotiate settlements within designated authority.
• Communicate claim activity with claimants and clients.
• Report claims to the excess carrier and respond to directions promptly.
