Job summary

Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP in Santa Monica, CA is seeking a Legal Recruiting Coordinator to support attorney recruiting, onboarding, and development initiatives. The role partners with lawyers, HR, and cross-functional teams to create welcoming candidate experiences and coordinate programs locally and firmwide.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities with discretion and strong client-service mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• 2+ years of experience in legal recruiting, human resources, office administration, campus recruiting, or professional services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all phases of associate recruiting, including scheduling interviews, travel arrangements, hotel accommodations, expense reimbursements, and candidate communications for lateral associates, judicial law clerks, entry-level associates, and summer associate candidates.
• Assist with on-campus recruiting, job fairs, networking events, and recruiting receptions, including preparation of recruiting materials, interview packets, presentations, and job postings.
• Process resumes from candidates, referrals, and legal search firms; maintain recruiting databases, applicant tracking systems, candidate files, evaluations, and follow-up actions.
• Serve as a professional point of contact for candidates, attorneys, law schools, vendors, and search firms while supporting diversity recruiting and firmwide recruiting initiatives.
