Job summary
Jobot is seeking a seasoned Permanent Legal Bankruptcy Practice Administrator to join our boutique defense firm in Phoenix. This on-site, permanent role focuses on managing legal billing, document handling, onboarding, budgeting, and client service.
The ideal candidate has a minimum of five years in legal administration with bankruptcy law expertise and strong organizational skills. You'll work closely with attorneys and staff to ensure compliance, timely billing, and excellent client service
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in legal administration with bankruptcy law focus.
- Experience in legal billing, document management, timekeeping, and onboarding.
- Strong understanding of bankruptcy law and the legal industry.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with multitasking ability.
- Proficient in practice management software and legal billing tools.
Responsibilities
- Oversee administrative aspects of bankruptcy practice including billing, document mgmt, timekeeping, and client onboarding.
- Implement onboarding processes for new clients and manage budgeting and expenses.
- Develop and manage a comprehensive practice management strategy to boost efficiency.
- Ensure accurate legal billing and resolve discrepancies with attorneys and staff.
- Prepare and maintain all legal documents in compliance with laws and regulations.
- Track practice expenses and optimize cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with legal team to manage budgets and financial health.
- Provide reports to senior management on operations and metrics.
- Stay updated on bankruptcy law developments and regulatory compliance.
