Job summary

University of Colorado Denver is seeking a Lecturer – University Liaison to supervise teacher candidates in field experiences and internships. The role collaborates with school leaders and mentor teachers to support candidate development and partnership growth. The position is part-time with hybrid work options.

Minimum qualifications include a master’s degree in education or related area and significant collaboration skills. Preference for Ed.D./Ph.D. and prior teacher education experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in education or relevant content area required; experience in K-12 teaching/leadership with diverse students.
• Experience mentoring and coaching teacher candidates or new teachers.
• Evidence of collaboration with district admins, principals, teachers, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Supervise teacher candidates in early field experiences and internships.
• Co-teach a site-based seminar with the cohort and coordinate with school leadership to support university partnerships.
• Provide virtual supervision and feedback to candidates via Zoom or other platforms.
