The position is 11 months, exempt, and reports to Campus Directors and Pilot Director, emphasizing differentiated instruction, collaboration with staff, and alignment to state standards to promote student growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university.
• Valid Florida Educator’s Certificate in the subject(s) assigned to teach.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Background check and fingerprinting clearance.
• Evidence of ongoing professional development.
• Knowledge of computer software/hardware including spreadsheets, word-processing, database, operating systems, and presentation software.
• Valid Florida driver’s license, reliable transportation and valid automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Support NBHS by attending community service and outreach activities throughout the year.
• Manage all aspects of the blended learning classroom for the assigned subject area.
• Create a learning environment conducive to student achievement and ongoing development.
• Develop lessons aligned with State Standards.
• Present instructional content in an engaging manner.
• Differentiate instruction to meet student needs and assess progress.
