Job summary

CHEF’S STORE is seeking a Learning and Development Manager to architect, deliver, and evaluate training programs across the organization. You will lead design, development, and delivery of leadership, professional, and functional development initiatives for field and corporate teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive needs analysis, instructional design, material development, instruction, training implementation, measurement systems, and learning project management.

Responsibilities

• Manage current programs and develop improvements keeping current with business needs.
• Partner with leaders to define learning and development needs and key messages across stakeholders.
• Design strategies to address technical knowledge and skill-building needs and determine delivery channels.
• Design training materials to enable learners to apply learning to job performance.
• Implement processes and standards for instructional design quality, technology, and learning effectiveness.
• Conduct comprehensive needs assessments based on business impact.
• Collaborate with SMEs and leaders to implement effective learning solutions.
• Apply design principles for single, blended, and/or action learning programs.
• Determine training plans to address performance gaps and improve business results.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to decide whether to buy, rent, or build learning solutions.
• Connect messages across the business by reinforcing content with relevant roles and materials.
• Develop train-the-trainer sessions so content can be delivered effectively.
• Develop measurement mechanisms to evaluate readiness or performance for continuous improvement.
• Perform as SME for learning and as facilitator or lead instructor when needed.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
