Job summary

US Foods seeks a Learning and Development Manager for CHEF’S STORE to design, implement, and evaluate leadership and professional development programs across the organization. This role builds a scalable L&D platform and measures impact.

The position is hybrid, onsite in West Linn, OR with on-site days Tue–Thu and virtual Mon/Fri; Rosemont, IL is also an option. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in instructional design and blended-learning delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in needs analysis, instructional design, material development and training implementation.
• Experience with learning measurement and evaluation models (e.g., Kirkpatrick).
• Proficiency in creating instructor-led, eLearning, blended and webinar training.
• Strong PowerPoint and graphic design skills; ability to develop engaging materials.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Manage and improve current learning programs to align with business needs.
• Partner with leaders to identify and communicate learning requirements across stakeholders.
• Design strategies to address knowledge and skill gaps and determine delivery channels.
• Create training materials and interventions to improve job performance.
• Ensure instructional design quality, technology use and learning effectiveness from storyboard to delivery.
• Conduct needs assessments and set learning priorities based on business impact.
• Collaborate with SMEs to implement effective learning solutions across the organization.
• Apply teaching methods for ILT, eLearning, blended and other formats; develop train-the-trainer sessions.
• Connect messages across business units to reinforce content and minimize learner touchpoints.
• Develop measurement and accountability mechanisms to drive continuous improvement.
• Serve as SME and lead instructor for programs as needed.
• Travel up to 10% for in-person delivery or collaboration.
