Job summary

Eaton Corporation is seeking a Lead Manufacturing Engineer, Wiring SME, for a hybrid role based in the United States. You will develop, validate, and deploy wiring processes, equipment standards, and automation for low- and medium-voltage switchgear powering data-center applications.

Lead NPI, DFMA, PFMEA, and continuous improvement with cross-functional teams to ensure safe, robust manufacturing. Expect competitive compensation and relocation as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum five (5) years in manufacturing engineering with processes, equipment standards, automation, and digital workflows.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience with electrical wiring assembly processes and wiring strategy.

Responsibilities

• Develop and standardize manufacturing methods and process controls across product families.
• Define technical requirements for wire-processing equipment and tooling; lead qualification and validation.
• Evaluate and implement automation for wire cutting, stripping, crimping, and labeling; support capital projects.
• Translate electrical design outputs into manufacturing data; promote design-for-manufacturability.
