Job summary

Cook County Government seeks a Lead Program Manager ( Office of Economic Development ) to plan and deliver on organization objectives through program development, management of day-to-day operations, and technical execution of programs.

Collaborate with Bureau/Department leadership to oversee programs and special initiatives, coordinate planning, submission, and performance reporting, and provide guidance in program management.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of planning, policy, and compliance policies, processes, and procedures.
• Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information.
• Leadership and guidance in program management.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver on organization objectives through program development and management of day-to-day operations.
• Collaborate with Bureau/Department leadership to oversee programs and strategic plans.
• Oversee policy manual development, revisions, and implementations.
• Coordinate program data entry and closeout in systems, and guide others in program management.
