Job summary

Electric Reliability Council of Texas is seeking an Operational Load Forecasting Lead to support 0-to-11 day hourly and sub-hourly forecast planning. The role involves developing models, validating performance, and delivering analytics to improve forecast quality and operational decision support.

You will work in a hybrid environment, collaborating with Operations and Forecasting teams, utilizing Python, R, SQL, Excel, Power BI, or Tableau to monitor data quality, forecasts, and dashboards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or Meteorology is required.

Responsibilities

• Support 0‑to‑11 day hourly and sub-hourly forecast assignments.
• Assist in model development, validation, and performance review.
• Develop weather-driven forecasting analytics and decision-support tools.
