Job summary

Target is hiring a Lead Engineer, Stores & Supply Chain to build the applications and technology that power Target’s retail and fulfillment network, supporting 2,000+ stores, 50+ warehouses, and a multi-billion inventory flow.

You will own the application architecture, drive scalable, reliable systems, and lead a team in a hybrid work model with core technologies including Java/Kotlin, Spring Boot, React, Kafka, Docker, and more. A 4-year degree and 7+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience with multiple full cycle implementations.
• Strong domain knowledge of Target’s technology capabilities and competitors.
• Experience designing end-to-end functionality and architectures.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and approves end-to-end functionality of product lines, platforms, or infrastructures.
• Owns architecture and drives changes to accelerate feature development and reliability.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable systems.
