Job summary

The Lead Engineer – Digitalization & AI at Eaton will drive AI-enabled engineering transformation across the enterprise, translating advanced analytics into production workflows. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, validate, and industrialize AI-driven digital engineering solutions.

The role requires deep expertise in multi-physics modeling, AI agents, and CAE tools, with a hybrid US-based work schedule and opportunities to work from Eaton locations nationwide.

Qualifications

  • Master’s or PhD in a relevant engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years developing AI/ML models, CAE workflows, or digital twin systems.
  • Minimum 2 years industry experience in aerospace or electrical systems design.

Responsibilities

  • Create Agentic AI design models for end-to-end design optimization.
  • Integrate AI into engineering tools to enhance productivity.
  • Develop multi-physics digital twins with cross-domain model integration.
  • Build physics-informed AI co-sim engines for design optimization loops.
  • Deploy enterprise-scale digital twins with connected digital threads.
