Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Lead Engineer – Engineering Digitalization & AI to advance AI-enabled engineering transformations across the enterprise. This role is hybrid and based at a US Eaton location, with focus on production-ready workflows from requirements through manufacturing.

You will collaborate across divisions, CoEs, product teams, IT, and global engineering groups. Responsibilities include designing AI design models, integrating AI into engineering tools, and building enterprise-scale digital

Qualifications

  • Master’s or PhD in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, CS, Applied Mathematics or related field.
  • Minimum of three years developing AI/ML models, CAE workflows, or digital twin systems.
  • Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Create AI design models for end-to-end design optimization, meshing, simulation, and design iteration.
  • Integrate AI into traditional engineering tools to enhance productivity and process efficiency.
  • Develop multi-physics digital twins and drive cross-domain model integration across electromagnetics, thermal, structural, fluid, and control systems.
