Job summary

KeyBank is seeking a Lead Closing Officer to provide advance closing expertise for a national team handling complex commercial real estate loans within the Institutional Capital Group (ICG). The role ensures accurate credit terms, reviews third‑party reports, and supports funding notices and loan documentation.

The successful candidate will guide Closing Officers, coordinate with attorneys, title and insurance providers, and internal stakeholders to maintain compliance and process improvements

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related experience in banking or financial services.
• Experience with closing process and commercial real estate loan financing.
• Familiarity with multi-bank loan participations/syndications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end pre- and postclosing activities for complex loan structures.
• Provide subject‑matter expertise during the closing process and review of documents.
• Coordinate with external parties and internal partners to ensure timely closing and proper documentation.
