Job summary

Segra is seeking a Network Provisioning Engineer (Layer 2) for a full-time role in a Segra office with a hybrid work arrangement. The role focuses on provisioning, testing, and troubleshooting E-Line and ELAN services within SEGRA Networks and related IP/Ethernet infrastructure.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in networking or Layer 2 provisioning, strong Cisco equipment knowledge, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in networking engineering or 4+ years in layer 2 provisioning for E-Line/ELAN.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco equipment.
• Provisioning experience with Ring and Linear Services (preferred).
• Experience with Ciena SAOS 6/8/10 (preferred).
• College degree in Engineering or related field (preferred).
• 6+ years troubleshooting network hardware and provisioning (preferred).
• 6+ years in network operations or related job (preferred).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
