Job summary

FreedomCare in Southfield, MI seeks a Launch Specialist I to support national expansion. You will implement standardized Intake processes, document workflows, and train new staff as a subject matter expert in Intake.

This hybrid role combines office days in Michigan with remote work to move Patients and Caregivers to Care efficiently. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in consumer-facing roles with high call volumes, strong process improvement skills, and a solid understanding of healthcare

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2+ years in a consumer facing position handling high call volumes.
• Examples of identifying process enhancements & improvements.
• Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and privacy laws (HIPAA) with state-specific rules.
• Proactive, autonomous, and able to drive tasks to completion.
• Ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders and manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Onboard caregivers and patients with minimal oversight, tracking each case's status.
• Follow up with patients and caregivers in a timely manner and document progress.
• Document and use systems such as Salesforce and TalkDesk for engagement and intake.
• Pilot and refine new processes in new markets and capture effective methods.
• Collaborate with Launch team and other departments to ensure smooth launches.
• Identify and develop relationships with key market players to move cases forward.
• Apply state-specific compliance requirements to intake processes and guides.
• Provide feedback to improve software or processes during launches.
• Develop basic proficiency in pre- and post-care roles through cross-training.
