Job summary

Top Echelon Software, LLC is seeking a Labor & Employment Associate Attorney for our Los Angeles hybrid office. The ideal candidate will handle sophisticated wage-and-hour, PAGA, and class action matters and advise employers on evolving state and federal employment laws.

The role requires CA bar admission, 4–7 years of relevant experience, strong research and writing, and the ability to work independently within a collaborative team. This is a high-impact opportunity in a premier practice group.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in California, in good standing.
• 4–7 years of substantive labor and employment law experience.
• Significant experience handling wage & hour, PAGA, and class action matters in state and federal courts.
• Strong background advising employers on compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Arbitration, mediation, or trial experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Represent employers in wage & hour, PAGA, and class action litigation matters.
• Handle a wide range of labor and employment litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Advise clients on compliance with evolving California and federal employment laws.
• Draft motions, briefs, memoranda, and other litigation filings.
• Participate in discovery, including depositions, document review, and discovery responses.
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda, pleadings, and settlement documents.
• Represent clients in disputes involving non-compete and non-solicitation agreements.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop strategic, practical solutions tailored to client needs.
