Qualifications

• JD from top-tier law school with excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in New York, in good standing.
• 5–7 years of substantive employment law experience with focus on wage and hour litigation and counseling.
• Experience advising employers on compliance with wage and hour laws at federal, state, and local levels.
• Experience handling class/collective wage and hour actions in court.
• Experience defending and prosecuting breaches of restrictive covenants.
• Experience preparing and negotiating employment agreements, including executive compensation provisions.
• Ability to leverage AI-driven technologies to improve efficiency and client service.

Responsibilities

• Handle labor and employment litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Advise employers on workplace law issues including compliance and risk management.
• Draft and negotiate employment agreements, restrictive covenants, and executive compensation provisions.
• Represent clients in disputes involving non-compete and non-solicitation agreements.
• Apply AI-driven technologies to enhance efficiency and quality of legal work product.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop strategic, practical client solutions.
