Apple, Inc. is seeking a Lab Manager in Sunnyvale, CA to lead a small team of lab technicians while actively running experiments and supporting engineering programs.

The role blends people leadership with hands-on ownership of lab equipment and test protocols to keep the lab safe, efficient, and productive. You will mentor staff, manage priorities, review performance, and coordinate with facilities, EHS, and engineering teams.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or 5+ years of industry experience.
• 3+ years in a technical/engineering lab with direct test execution and equipment operation.
• 1+ years leading or mentoring a team.
• Strong lab safety, hazardous materials handling, and regulatory compliance knowledge.
• Experience with maintenance, calibration, and asset management systems.
• Excellent organizational skills balancing individual work with team leadership.
• Ability to lift and move lab equipment as needed.
• Willingness to work on-site 5 days a week with potential extended hours for deliveries/tests.

• Maintain asset tracking records and regulatory documentation.
• Manage access control and confidentiality for prototype hardware.
• Identify process improvements to increase uptime and throughput.
• Coordinate cross-functional logistics with engineering, facilities, EHS, and supply chain.
