MeUndies seeks a Senior Manager/Director, People Operations to lead the People Team and partner with the C‑Suite to shape strategy for recruiting, retention, and an exceptional employee experience. This hybrid role is based in Los Angeles with four in-office days per week.

You will own HR processes across the employee lifecycle, payroll, benefits, compliance, and culture initiatives, while building a high‑performing organization that supports MeUndies’ growth and values.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive experience leading a People Operations function
• Ability to think strategically while managing operational issues
• Track record of building strong teams
• Experience with diversity and inclusion, learning and development, succession planning and performance management
• Excellent communication with executives and staff
• Startup experience preferred
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business, Organization Development or Human Resources preferred

Responsabilités

• Own HR processes across the employee lifecycle (onboarding, offboarding, leaves, performance management, employee relations)
• Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and handbook updates
• Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws
• Oversee contractor agreements, classification, and administration
• Manage HR compliance, audits, filings, training and safety requirements
• Serve as primary HR resource for employee and manager questions
• Partner with legal counsel on employment matters as needed
• Own recruiting processes and work with external partners
• Oversee benefits administration (health, dental, vision, 401(k), COBRA, FSA)
• Manage relationships with HR vendors and maintain employee records and reporting
• Oversee office operations, IT provisioning, and workplace facilities
• Support employee engagement and culture initiatives
• Drive talent development and performance management programs
