Job summary

Virtual Service Operations is seeking a System Administrator to provide L2 support, manage Windows and Linux environments, and maintain enterprise infrastructure. The role emphasizes strong communication, security compliance, and documentation while supporting both on-site and remote tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in system administration or L2 technical support.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server environments and Active Directory.
• Working knowledge of Linux system administration and command-line operations.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Understanding in network troubleshooting and TCP/IP fundamentals.
• Experience with IT ticketing systems and ITSM processes.
• Knowledge of enterprise backup and recovery procedures.
• Understanding of change management and incident management frameworks.
• Strong documentation and technical communication skills.
• Citizenship status per government contract.

Responsibilities

• Systems Administration: manage Windows Server (AD), Linux systems, server hardware, and network troubleshooting.
• Virtualization platform support and backups; patch management and security monitoring.
• ITSM ticket resolution and escalation; performance monitoring and optimization.
