Job summary

The Hollister Group is seeking a Junior Web Developer/Jr. Creative Technologist to support web updates, digital exhibits, and partner projects in Cambridge, MA. You will work with CraftCMS, Contentful, and Raspberry Pi-based deployments to build innovative digital experiences.

This is a part-time, hybrid role (~20 hours weekly) emphasizing hands-on learning, problem solving, and technical support, with opportunities to contribute to multimedia exhibits and web maintenance.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of web development and coding principles.
• Experience with CraftCMS and Contentful preferred.
• Knowledge of Raspberry Pi hardware and Infobeamer deployment.
• Excellent problem-solving and technical support capabilities.
• Ability to work ~20 hours per week in a hybrid setting.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical training.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with external web contractors to implement updates using CraftCMS and Contentful.
• Support the continuous improvement and upkeep of the company’s website.
• Assist with technical troubleshooting for in-gallery digital exhibits.
• Bring familiarity with Raspberry Pi-based systems and Infobeamer or similar lightweight exhibit platforms.
• Contribute to the deployment and maintenance of multimedia exhibits and digital projects.
