Job summary

PCI Energy Solutions, a global provider protecting environment and optimizing energy operations, seeks a Junior Systems Administrator in Norman, OK. The role involves implementing and maintaining IT infrastructure, ensuring security and reliability, and collaborating with IT teams to deploy robust configurations.

Based in our Norman headquarters, you will join a hybrid work model with some days at home and some days in the office.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Systems Administrator or similar role maintaining IT infrastructure.
• In-depth knowledge of Windows and Linux, networks, and virtualization.
• Knowledge of AWS Cloud technologies is essential.
• Solid cybersecurity basics and incident response awareness.
• Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain IT infrastructure including servers, networks, and storage.
• Develop and deploy system configurations and updates for performance and security.
• Collaborate with IT and stakeholders to design architecture meeting business needs.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and minimize downtime.
• Perform backups, patch management, and system upgrades.
• Respond to complex issues with timely, expert-level user support.
• Enforce security protocols and SOC 1/2, FISMA compliance as applicable.
• Create documentation and generate reports on performance and security.
• Provide training and on-call support to IT staff and end-users.
