Confidential Employer in Chicago is seeking a motivated Junior Commercial Real Estate Associate Attorney to join our team. You will work on high-value commercial real estate transactions alongside accomplished attorneys, gaining exposure to private equity, joint ventures, and complex financing.

The role offers a hybrid schedule with remote flexibility and a discretionary year-end bonus eligibility. Candidates must be admitted to practice in Illinois and have 1+ years of relevant transactional

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Active admission to practice law in Illinois.
1+ years of experience in commercial real estate transactions preferred.
Junior associate experience, ideally within the 2024 or 2025 law school graduating classes.
Experience with acquisitions, dispositions, financings, joint ventures, or other transactional real estate matters.

Responsibilities

Assist with commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and investment transactions.
Draft, review, and negotiate transactional agreements and supporting documentation.
Work on real estate joint ventures, private equity investments, and M&A transactions.
Support commercial real estate financing, fund formation, and leasing matters.
Conduct due diligence, analyze transaction risks, and help guide deals through closing.
Collaborate with experienced attorneys and clients on sophisticated real estate projects.
