Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking a Java Full Stack Engineer to contribute to currency transaction reporting applications. The role is based in Irving, TX with a hybrid work model (2 days onsite / 3 days remote) for an 18-month contract.

The candidate will work on front-end stabilization (React) and data pipelines (Python/Spark) within an Agile team. Required 2+ years in software engineering, strong experience with Java and Spring Boot, and deep knowledge of REST APIs and microservices.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Software Engineering experience or equivalent.
• 2 years of experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with React.js or Angular and modern front-end frameworks.
• Experience building REST APIs and microservices.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with cross-functional teams.
• Understanding of software design patterns, secure coding practices, and performance optimization.
• Awareness of Python and its usage in automation, scripting, or data processing.

Responsibilities

• Participate in low to moderately complex initiatives and identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Review and analyze software engineering assignments or challenges.
• Present recommendations for resolving moderately complex situations.
• Perform maintenance on existing applications and merge them into a single application.
• Assist in stabilizing the front end built in React.
• Build data pipelines with Python and Spark.
• Work with AI tools such as Github/Copilot.
