Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking a Java Spring Frontend Engineer for an onsite role in Irving, TX. You will help stabilize a React-based frontend, merge applications, and build data pipelines using Python and Spark, contributing to currency transaction reporting tooling.

The position requires 2+ years of software engineering, strong Java and Spring Boot experience, and familiarity with React or Angular, REST APIs, and agile teams. Cloud and container skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Software Engineering experience or equivalent.
• 2 years of experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with React.js or Angular and modern front-end development frameworks.
• Experience building REST APIs and microservices.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with cross-functional teams.
• An understanding of software design patterns, secure coding practices, and application performance optimization.
• Awareness of Python and its usage in automation, scripting, or data processing.

Responsibilities

• Participate in low to moderately complex initiatives and identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Review and analyze software engineering assignments or challenges.
• Present recommendations for resolving moderately complex situations.
• Perform maintenance on existing applications and contribute to merging them into a single application.
• Assist in stabilizing the front end, which is built in React.
• Build data pipelines with Python and Spark.
• Work with AI tools such as Github/Copilot.
