Kayak, part of Booking Holdings, is seeking a Java Backend Engineer to help build and maintain our travel search and booking platform. Based in Kaunas, this role requires at least 3 days per week in the Kaunas office and collaboration with a high-powered team to deliver fast, reliable backend services using Java, Spring, and SQL.

You will implement new features, optimize performance, and integrate with external APIs, while growing in a collaborative, hybrid environment with strong English

Formación

• Education in Computer Science or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience working with Java.
• Familiarity with Spring framework and SQL databases.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a collaborative environment.
• Ability to thrive in a hybrid working model, working at least three office days per week.

Responsabilidades

• Implement new backend search and booking features under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Collaborate with the team to improve existing features, focusing on speed and user experience.
• Assist in creating and maintaining integrations with third-party APIs.
