Job summary

Servicon seeks a hands-on Janitorial Area Manager to oversee operations across client locations. You will guide site leaders and frontline teams, ensure service quality, and address staffing and operational needs to keep each site running smoothly.

The role emphasizes coaching employees, solving problems, and building strong client partnerships, with a schedule aligned to the Portfolio Manager’s coverage across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in janitorial, custodial, facilities services, or a related service environment.
• Demonstrated success leading teams, setting expectations, coaching employees, and maintaining consistent service quality.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, respond to operational issues, and follow through across multiple locations.
• Strong client service skills and sound judgment when resolving concerns.
• Bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish, with the ability to clearly communicate expectations, training, and feedback.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop your teams across multiple locations, providing direction, support, and accountability for service quality, safety, and performance.
• Deliver a strong client experience by ensuring contracted janitorial services meet specifications and coordinating timely resolutions.
• Keep operations staffed and running by evaluating staffing needs, supporting recruiting, and coordinating tasks across sites.
• Manage workforce data and resources, including payroll-related tasks, timekeeping reports, and budgeting support.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve issues and advance company priorities.
