Job summary

State Employees' Credit Union in Raleigh, NC is seeking an Independent Testing & Validation Senior Analyst to lead testing engagements from planning through reporting, assess risks and controls, and document evidence to support remediation.

You will collaborate with business units, risk partners, and leadership to ensure IT&V methodology is applied consistently, deliver quality workpapers, and coach junior analysts in testing practices within the enterprise risk program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, finance, risk management, accounting, or related field.
• 3–5 years in operational risk management, internal controls, audit, compliance, or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT&V engagements from planning through reporting.
• Evaluate risks, controls, and evidence to determine design and operating effectiveness.
• Perform QA reviews of testing workpapers to ensure evidence supports conclusions.
• Support recurring IT&V reporting, trends, and observations for program oversight.
• Provide guidance to business units on IT&V expectations and documentation standards.
• Maintain and refine IT&V templates and guidance documents.
• Coach analysts on testing methodology and documentation quality.
