Job summary

General Motors is seeking an IT System Analyst to support Corporate Development, Joint Ventures, and Alliances. You will help ensure that business-critical applications, technical environments, and data integrations support effective collaboration between GM and external entities.

You will partner with Corporate Development stakeholders, IT teams, joint venture participants, and technology providers to translate business needs into practical technology solutions and to document infrastructure

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT, CS, engineering or related field.
• Experience supporting enterprise applications, business systems, or IT operations.
• Experience performing systems analysis, requirements gathering, and process analysis.
• Experience documenting technical infrastructure, interfaces, and data flows.
• Experience supporting data integrations across organizational boundaries.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operation, enhancement, and continuous improvement of applications used by Corporate Development.
• Serve as a trusted technology partner to stakeholders across Corporate Development, Joint Ventures, and Alliances.
• Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements; identify risks and improvement opportunities.
• Investigate incidents, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate resolution with IT teams, vendors, and partners.
• Document application landscapes, interfaces, data flows, and operational procedures.
• Define and maintain integration requirements for secure data exchange between GM and JV/alliance entities.
• Collaborate with architecture, security, data, and enterprise teams to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions.
• Participate in design, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
• Monitor data quality and integration performance; address recurring issues.
• Translate technical concepts into clear recommendations and leadership updates.
