Job summary

Arizona Public Service seeks an IT Solutions Engineer/Analyst to support, administer, maintain, and continually improve critical business applications. You will partner with vendors, stakeholders, and IT teams to ensure secure, reliable, and aligned solutions, handling incidents, upgrades, testing, and documentation across the application lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Business Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• PLUS one (1) year of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and directly related experience.
• Requires basic technical knowledge within an application, technology, or business support area.
• Demonstrated analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Supports the administration, maintenance, configuration, and continuous improvement of assigned business and operational applications.
• Troubleshoots, analyzes, and resolves application incidents, service requests, and production issues in accordance with established service levels.
• Provides Level 1 and Level 2 support for vendor-supported and enterprise applications.
• Coordinates with software vendors, business stakeholders, and IT teams to investigate and resolve technical and functional issues.
• Supports application upgrades, patches, implementations, system integrations, and enhancement initiatives.
• Performs testing activities for new functionality, upgrades, defect corrections, and system changes.
• Creates and maintains technical documentation, support procedures, knowledge articles, and application support materials.
• Supports application administration activities including user access management, configuration updates, and routine maintenance tasks.
• Participates in continuous improvement initiatives that enhance system reliability, performance, security, and user experience.
• Follows established cybersecurity, compliance, operational, and change management processes.
