Job summary

Consulting Solutions in Rock Hill, SC is seeking a Service Desk Specialist to provide 1st line IT support. The role combines on-site days and remote work on Monday and Friday, with hours from 8am to 5pm.

You will handle calls, emails, and chats, troubleshoot Windows, Office, VPN, SCCM, and network issues, and coordinate with higher level support as needed. Associates degree in IT or equivalent is required; A+ is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
• 1-3 years working experience in a Service Desk Role.
• A+ preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assures smooth handling of individual problems from call-in through resolution. Practicing Total Contact ownership.
• Responds to inquiries and service requests via Phone, E-mail and chat queues.
• Provides 1st level technical support for internal customers: Windows 7+, Office 2010+, Internet Explorer, hardware/software conflicts, VPN, SCCM, network/wireless/telco/iPhone/iPad connectivity.
• Escalates to 2nd level support when necessary.
• Maintains ticket queues with clear communication to customers and peers.
• Acts with urgency and commitment to resolve issues under pressure.
