Job summary

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of cybersecurity, IT audit, IT security compliance, governance, risk management, or third-party risk management experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Knowledge of security control frameworks and audit readiness practices.
• Familiarity with frameworks like NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, CIS Controls, PCI DSS.
• Exposure to AI security and responsible governance preferred.
• Experience with third-party risk assessments and vendor security reviews.
• Ability to collect, organize, validate audit evidence with attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate risk in business language.
• Certifications such as Security+, CySA+, CISA, CRISC, CGRC, CISSP Associate, ISO 27001 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support IT security compliance program operations, with control documentation and remediation tracking.
• Assist with control mappings across frameworks, laws, and contractual requirements.
• Interpret compliance needs and translate into actionable control activities.
• Maintain compliance records, risk registers, policies, and supporting docs.
• Track gaps and audit findings to ensure timely closure and escalation.
• Support AI security reviews and governance for AI-enabled tools and models.
• Help maintain AI inventories, risk assessments, and usage guidelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess AI use cases against policies.
• Prepare reports and dashboards on compliance status and risk trends.
