Job summary
The Division of Technology Services (DTS) in Utah seeks an IT Senior Project Manager to lead complex cloud, infrastructure, and DevOps initiatives within Enterprise Hosting. You will partner with Cloud Architects, DevOps Engineers, DBAs, and agency stakeholders to translate requirements into infrastructure solutions and help drive the Enterprise DevOps Center of Excellence.
Responsibilities include planning, coordinating multiple teams, monitoring risks/budgets, and delivering with Agile
Qualifications
- Experience managing software development, cloud, or IT infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or SAFe methodologies.
- Ability to develop and maintain project schedules, task lists, and tracking deliverables.
- Working knowledge of work tracking tools such as Jira, GitHub, ServiceNow, or Lucid.
- Understanding of risk management principles and tracking of issues/priorities.
- Experience coordinating across cross-functional technical teams.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of complex cloud, infrastructure, and DevOps projects.
- Define objectives, requirements, and deliverables with stakeholders.
- Coordinate resources across multiple groups in a matrixed environment.
- Monitor progress, risks, dependencies, budget, and capacity.
- Support InnerSource collaboration, sharing CI/CD templates and IaC scripts.
- Facilitate planning, standups, backlogs, and retrospectives.
- Provide status reporting to sponsors, leadership, and stakeholders.
- Promote Agile principles and continuous improvement across teams.
