It involves managing JPTs, communicating status, and coordinating resources, often in a hybrid setup around Chattanooga, TN. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in IT PM, a high school diploma, and possibly a Bachelor’s degree or PMP certification.

RSI is currently recruiting a Project Manager Information Technology for our client in Chattanooga. The Project Manager is responsible for the overall planning, direction, management, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects according to specifications, within budget cost from initiation through completion. The Project Manager leads Joint Project Teams (JPTs), applies professional principles, practices and techniques to manage and control project schedule, cost and performance risk to ensure project is completed within a certain set of restraints (e.g., time, budget, people, quality, materials) and a high level of quality. This role is generally assigned medium-sized projects, or functions within a larger project. Work is primarily achieved by an individual, or through project teams. The Project Manager is the single point of contact regarding a specific project and assumes the leadership role in safely managing the project.
Work and results primarily achieved through the work of others and typically depend on the incumbent’s ability to influence and negotiate with parts of the organization where formal authority is not held. Decisions are guided by resource availability and project objectives. This is a hybrid role and candidates should be in our around Chattanooga, TN.
