Job summary

University of North Texas System Administration is seeking an IT Project Manager to lead cross‑functional IT initiatives across infrastructure, applications and operations. You will ensure projects are planned, tracked and delivered on time and within budget, coordinating with vendors and internal teams.

The successful candidate will apply Agile/Scrum methods, manage risks and dependencies, report progress to executives, and facilitate decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field and 5 years of Agile/Scrum master management work experience or equivalent.
• Experience leading technical and nontechnical teams in agile, waterfall, or hybrid environments.
• Ability to manage multiple teams and Coordinate across organizational boundaries.
• Excellent written and verbal communications and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with business owners to ensure alignment of project goals and implementation plans.
• Facilitate execution across multiple teams and track feature completion.
• Estimate efforts and provide program‑level visibility.
• Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
• Develop, publish, and improve standardized PM practices.
• Coordinate cross‑functional IT teams enterprise‑wide to remove impediments.
• Lead daily standups, planning, demonstrations and retrospectives.
