Job summary

Bailey Information Technology, LLC (BIT, LLC) supports the United States Capitol Police, Office of Information Services in Washington, DC. The Project Coordinator / Business Analyst (Junior PM) role focuses on IT project delivery, requirements gathering, backlog management, and Agile ceremonies within a PMO.

You will coordinate with stakeholders, developers, and project managers, maintaining documentation in Confluence, SharePoint, and Teams, and preparing schedules and status reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of experience providing administrative, coordination, or project support services.
• Ability to organize information, manage multiple priorities, and maintain accurate project documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience using collaboration and workflow tools, including SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Teams Planner, and Planner Premium.

Responsibilities

• Support requirements gathering, user story development, acceptance criteria, and backlog refinement in JIRA and Teams Planner.
• Assist with sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives and other Agile ceremonies.
• Support UAT planning, documentation, and coordination activities as needed.
• Maintain project documentation in Confluence, SharePoint, Teams, or similar platforms.
• Prepare and update project materials including schedules, agendas, status reports, and action logs.
• Coordinate project meetings, capture meeting notes, and follow up on assigned actions.
• Support milestone tracking, timeline updates, and dependency monitoring under PM direction.
• Assist with PMO governance activities, including risk/issue tracking and routing documents for review and approval.
• Provide communication support by developing draft stakeholder updates and reporting inputs.
• Perform general PMO support as needed, including data entry, project record maintenance, and logistics coordination.
