Job summary

Talon Professional Services seeks an experienced Embedded Risk Manager to join the IT Infrastructure team on a hybrid 3 days onsite basis in Jersey City, NJ. This 12‑month contract to direct‑hire role focuses on identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across networks, storage, and cloud environments.

The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years in infrastructure risk, engineering, cybersecurity, or related disciplines, with strong governance and leadership capabilities to communicate KPI/ KRI

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience with networks, storage and cloud environments.
• Ability to evaluate and enhance infrastructure controls.
• Strong understanding of vulnerability management, incident response, access controls and data protection.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess and mitigate risks across IT infrastructure domains.
• Collaborate with infrastructure leadership to strengthen the control environment.
• Communicate KPIs, KRIs and KCIs to diverse stakeholders and leadership.
