Job summary

Cambridge Investment Research, Inc. is seeking an IT Infrastructure Administrator to maintain and upgrade our server, backup, and related technology systems.

You will troubleshoot issues, perform routine maintenance, document procedures, and help identify technologies that improve reliability and productivity. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of server administration experience, strong Windows Server skills, and familiarity with VMware.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of server administration experience.
• Experience with Windows Server OS and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with VMware virtualization.
• Experience with enterprise server hardware (Dell EMC, Cisco UCS or HP).

Responsibilities

• Perform routine server maintenance, backups, upgrades, and monitoring.
• Troubleshoot server, workstation, software, and hardware issues.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and procedures.
• Assist with implementation and maintenance of virtualization environments.
• Participate in on-call rotations.
